I was thinking about dedicating one day a month where everyone will write in Kurdish or kurdish with English translation along with it . I know it will be hard considering our dialects , but I think it is worth it and we could all learn something . It will definitly improve our writting skill .

Let me know what you think

This is a great idea, but sadly I have difficulty writing down my own dialect, because I find it hard to think in Kurdish, as stupid as it may sound.

That is the whole point heval , because if you can read and write in your own dialect this post would not be necessary Keep in mind that it will give other members a chance to learn about your dialect considering when you provide an english version of what you write .

I already know Kurdish, I just need to know Kurmanji and Sorani. Which dialect do you speak?

Do Sorani Kurds say Para for money? We say 'pul'. When you say "come here", do you say 'warra'? We say 'bia'.

Thats kurmanji
I think the different between sorani and kurmanji may be that kurmanji is a more aggressive dialect, a more harder tone in the speaking
That what i think

Sorani says para while we should use pul , we say warra for come but you use a persian word for that .

Bia isn't persian lol, just because there are similiarities doesn't mean the word is Persian.
