peh who are that, i thought it will be ayse san or person like her or martyr mothers or leyla zana or nasir rezazis wife and daughter and some persons like that since you speak they fight for kurdishness :D i dont know leyla fariqi so good, but the other singers should be the last in the list. i heard last (some years ago) chopy from south and i dont know so much southern women.

Sorry, but those women have had nothing to do with the struggle. They are actually very poor "singers" if you want to even call them that.

Well to be honest I know that for example Nasly is not the best example of a good singer but she looks good as a model and she have been in many model shows in sweden. Many people say that the clothes she is wearing is bad (I personally don't care what she wears) but I understand that some people who are very strict in cultural ways doen't like it. and yes she has a terrbile voice too. But As I said she could work good in modelling.

Well as strong kurdish women there are many. Do you guys know Maliki Media? Who was a queen in the place were they call soran today? She was a kurdish leader.

my grandmother 8 generations back was also queen, she was rich fat tribal leader \:D/ her decision were the whole villages decisions.
