This is a map of Iran how the turkish nationalists wnat it, even Mahabad and Tehran is part of Azerbaijan and look at southern Turkmenistan lol, the persians are the majority in this region, but even the Kurds and other groups are more then Turkmens in this Khorsan region. And they only call it south Azerbajjan and south Turkmenistan but not east Kurdistan.

We might as well add a correct map of the ethnic groups in Iran. The problem with the following map is that Kermashan and Illam are not mapped as Kurdish cities. I am not 100% on the demographics of Illam, but any one can tell you that Kermashan is a Kurdish city.

Lol both those maps are fake. Firstly that is bullshit because Ilam is mostly Kurdish, and the Lurs there see themselves as Kurds. Secondly Lurs are actually a Kurdish tribe.

Map probably made by some nationalists from the state of Azerbaijan which have no clue about the real borders but simply thought this area is Azeri because the Iranian regime call East Kurdistan (Mahabad etc) "West Azerbaijan". Actually they did this to destroy the Mahabad republic and its history. 80% of the so called "West Azerbaijan is Kurdish" And also they extended "SOuth Azerbaijan too much South. beside the province "East Azerbaijan" and Tabriz no other region would fought against the Regime because they are more fanatic Shiis.

And Qashgaistan, South Turkmenistan are just a joke, The area of so called Qashgaistan includes most parts of the province Fars where Persian make up 80-90% of the population. Only because of some 5-10% Qashgais they are going to get it? Typical logic of Turkic nationalists.

That's a map I made some time ago, but it's not completely correct; Urme (West Azerbaijan) is not completely Kurdish, the Northeastern corner, and the Southern shore of Lake Urme are Azeri; Ilam's Southern parts aren't Kurdish either, and the Kurdish extent into Hamadan is most likely not that great.

What do you mean they aren't Kurdish? So you don't count Lurs as Kurds? The Lurds there speak Fayli from what I know, but I don't know whether they identify as Kurdish.
