Yes I am from Northern Kurdistan and my tribe is located on ciya rama. Its near Batman and ciya rama is where my tribe got its name.

Apperently, my great grandfather Emin aga (emine ahmed or emine perixane) is very well known in Batman. maybe one of you have heard of him?

Soo does anyone else know which tribe they're from? :D

LOL - I was certain that you were from Mêrdîn-Amed-Bitlîs-Elîh-Cizîre-Mêrdîn area----> Many use the name Rojhat in that area... :)

Tribes, yeah - I adhere to the Dîrî tribe... Mainly in Colemêrg... Which per Kurdish provinces, is divided between Iran and Turkey...

I will ask my father about Emîn Axa from Batman!

cool diri, great that most of you speak kurmanji because I can't recognize anything in the other languages.

Yea your father might have heard of him but nowadays all the younger kurds like me don't know much about the stories of the elders.

No I am a boy but I think it can be used as a girls name. my cousins name is Rojda (she's a girl) and that's sort of similar. Piling, no im not ezidi, im muslim but i love the ezidi culture and stories because after all, yazdanism is where we get all our Kurdish traditions so I think we need to protect that religion too. Us Kurds were all probably ezidi before we were any other religion.

yes thats right, many pure kurdish names are for both male and females
like hiwa, medya , rojigar ..

does Rojhat mean "the day came" ? (so it would be a sentence not a noun , actualy there are some nations that have sentences as names ) by the way it is a nice name .

about ezidis I agree with you, we kurds no matter what our relligion is, should protect Ezidis relligion , they are a part of our national heritage .

yea the literal translation of rojhat is day came /the day has come. I think my parents chose it for me because it has something to do with when the liberation of Kurdistan comes
