Hi folks
I already wrote on the language section but came to sey hello here as well.
It is great to have this forum where one doesn´t need to understand Kurdish to be able to communicate about it..and it is also interesting to have a mix of Kurdish and non-Kurdish here around this topic.
Well, i am a Finnish university student (learning arabic), married for papers with my dear boyfriend (hopefully processing soon after tha last negative answer),but i think even though we separated one time, Kurdish culture and language has started to fascinate me enough for even changing Arabic to it one day if I´ll have a chance..
We Finns are only about 5 million but we have had our independence soon during a century, and Finnish is our mother tongue in stead of Swedish or Russian that it could nowadays be if things had gone another way! And I think Finnish and Kurdish are both quite tricky languages!
Anyway, I feel I would really be of use learning myself Kurdish and maybe some day teaching others.. in stead of Arabic which I very much like but it has enough of appreciation already and it is taken care of by much more people.
But this is now just dreaming and trying to find that path I´m dreaming of.
So, no promises about anything , but even though just for hobby it´s nice to meet you all!
