Roz/Shab khosh bi.
I've come here mainly due to the influence of one of your members and my bira Diri. I hope to get closer to all my Kurd brothers and sisters, especially those residing outside of Eastern Kurdistan because I know little about them.
My name is Sepehr and I was born in Tehran, Iran. My mother, a Kurd from Sine, and my father, an Azeri from Isfahan, even though both lived most of their lives in Tehran. As for me, I'm a proud Iranian, who believes in the toppling of the arrogant and oppressive mullah regime and the unification of all Iranian speaking peoples. But I also support a seperate Kurdistan, if the regime in Iran stays, and if the regime topples and the Kurds still want to seperate, that's fine with me too.
I can speak little Kurdi, but can understand some. My Torki is a little better, but I rarely use it. My first language was Parsi (thus my screen name) and Kurdi and Torki I picked up from my parents and their families. I love Sine, and Kurd culture and I also love Azeri dance & culture to some extent (I've grown tired of Azeris b/c of pan-turkists), but my own culture is mostly Tehrani.
I hope I get to know you all better, and to prove to you that not all Iranians are evil people who want to Persianize the Kurds, despite of popular belief.
If you have any questions, ask me.
Your friend and Iranian brother,
Sepehr
