Thank you. I finished that paper last night at 2230. Left me little time to study for my exams today and tomorrow. Only two more tests before my two week break.

I lived in Japan for 7.5 years and now I'm studying it here at the university. It's not as good as it should be, but it's getting better.

Well, it was all part of the job. I am in the US military (the secret is out now ). Navy, to be specific. The first couple of years I lived on a ship, then I was able to rent a small apartment for a while, then I moved into base housing, which was pretty nice.

Haha, very expensive. I had a 1 bedroom apartment with a small living room and a small kitchen/dining room on the third floor. My parking space was way down the street. I was on the third floor and very close to the train tracks. It cost me JPY120,000 (about $1,100 USD) per month!

Yes, you would definitely need a job. It is much cheaper to live in the country. I was in the middle of the urban sprawl/concrete jungle. I prefer the countryside, but couldn't live there because of work.

indeed, I like the country, but I also like the ''concrete jungle'' xD
do you think there is any house like that who is something cheaper ? and do you think there is hard to get any job/part time, whatever so I could afford living there

It's either easier or harder to find a job as a foreigner. It is much easier if you have a degree in something. Many foreigners get work teaching English as it's pretty much in demand. Other than that, the only jobs I can think of where I saw foreigners working without a degree is at clubs and bars.
