sisters i understand kurdish is a hard language
i myself have been in the same boat. The only Kurdish we got was whatever we spoke at home as i wasnt even born in Kurdistan.
i recently went back and realised my kurdish is pretty bad but its easy to improve once u are there as i realise. I was there for a mont hand by the end i was ALOT better then i was at the start.
At the beginning i had a mini dictionary for when i am talking and get stuck but towards the end i didnt use the dictionary anymore.

My point is that kurdish, just like other languages can be learnt alot better when in a society with alot of kurds. I still dont understand all the news as they speak VERY fast but still not bad for someone who wasnt even born there

@ Akam,
I understand what you mean. I noticed the same thing when I went to Kurdistan a couple of years ago.
It's really good that you actually want to improve your Kurdish. :D

@Kulka,
wow, that's really good of you - if that's the case, than you have fastly improved yourself in the past 2 years! :D
May I ask what your background is ? ^^

yes sister... i answer, although i dont like to mention it - i was living in poland before - but for many reasons i dont like to be connected with that (believe me, i have reasons). and although probably i will live in there in the future - but i will be kurdish who will live in poland. of course i am going to keep contact with kurdish people - i get account on one big polish website and i have already about 30-40 kurds on my friends list, who live in poland - mostly coz they study there or working after they finish university - most of them have medical education. but the problem is that very few are sorani, mostly they are from the territories occupied by turkya and syria. but no problem, i hope to keep contact with them.
i will live near big city, where there is very famous polish uni and also in that city we have office of kurdistan regional government together with institution called "kurdish center of information and documentation" (something like that in english). also i hope to work in any kurdish institution, office or anything - still hope for kurdish ambassy or consulate. and i also consider to go kurdistan for a bit of time to work there (just to try if it will be ok, so i may stay for a longer time).
