Hi everyone;

My name is AFO.
I am an Assyrian/Kurd, Born in Mahabad, Iran.
My father was the Mayor there in the 60's.

Currently, I live in San Jose, CA.

My father is a Kurd. Mother Assyrian/Armenian.
1960-1968. His name is Dr. William Lazaar.
We actually fled to Teheran, because few people started rumors that my father was a communist and situation got worse for my Dad. Of course, we fled from the mullahs in 1979, because he had a high position in the gov't (Deputy Minister of Health).

I am a physisist at Ames National Laboratory.
Due to national security reasons, I can't expose the projects I am working on. Let's just say U.S. is spending quiet of bid of money protecting it's borders.

BTW: what are the instructions for putting an image or wesite.?

by the way , I didnt mean if what his ideology is ... i meant why his name is willliam ? (only chrisitan kurdish families have such names) I have seen no kurd named William .

My Father was brought up in a mixed marraige also.
His Father was a Muslim & mother Armenian. Go figure.
His mother chose British name.

thats cool, I like armenians, kurds marrying armenians always lead to important men .
like Dr Ghasemlu whose mother was assyrian/or Armenian .
