I reside in Palm Springs, CA. U.S.A.

My line of work is Cosmetology.

Why did you have to ask this question. :? I´m actually a mongrel. I´m Irish, Scottish, English, German, Czech and Jew.

That sounds an impressive line of work. Cosmetology is that cosmetics or the Cosmos (planets etc...), sorry for being thick . I'm a Domestic Engineer, giggle!

Spas. :)

I had a Kurdish friend that told me about the Turkish oppression and the Iraqi atrocities against the Kurds. I need not go into detail, since you already know about it or have even experienced it. Anyway, I lost contact with him unfortunately. I started reading about the Kurds because of this. From what I´ve heard and read, I´ve come to the conclusion that there definitely should be an independent Kurdistan. The Kurds have been a stateless nation for far too long.

Cosmetology has to do with cosmetics, as well as hair and nails. Although, it would be quite interesting to be a Cosmologist. :)
Isn´t Domestic Engineering another word for Housekeeping? I´m feeling a tad thick at the moment.

Hi Lyn
You got it spot on, Domestic Engineer is another word for Housekeeper.
I love winding people up with that title, they rack their brains thinking I do something really exciting :? . I work for the University, basically looking after student accommodation, cleaning & general upkeep, very boring but it puts food in our mouth. I have some great friends at work 8) & we have a good old laugh (when the boss isn't about).
Who knows what tomorrow will bring, so live life to the full today!

I´ve never been to Tennessee. I lived in Wilmington, N.C. for a while. Also went on a vacation to Tampa/Clearwater, Florida. I wasn´t that impressed with it over there. Have you been to California? If so, where?

I need to learn more Kurmancî phrases. Can you help me, sis?

I have actually never been to California, but LA is a working progress. I am supposed to come there before Jan to meet some of my old friends....
I almost got a job in DC after graduation...I have not been there, but I am sure it is nice.
Tennessee in Comparison to Cali? undoable. I like TN's enviroment more than anything else, but I am afraid that once i see LA i will never return home....
Kurmanci> sure. Ser Herdu chaven xwa! I would love to help you in any way I can. Feel free ask anything you want dear and I can talk to you in Kurdi.
