New blog project [Tom Kurdish Music @ Blogspot.Com]

PostAuthor: tomjez » Sat Sep 30, 2006 11:09 am

Hey guys!

I created a new blog beside my french speaking one

http://tomkurdishmusic.blogspot.com/

Using the advantages of the new beta version of blogger, I intend to create a little kurdish music portal, recensing concerts in Europe or Turkey, presenting artists, showing extracts and video, and much more to come

for those interested, this could become a collaborative blog, people could write (quality) articles about their favorites musicians, we could give lyrics translations, etc

any ideas welcome

please write here or on mailto:thomasjezquel@gmail.com

thanks

I like it. I really love Aynur. The music is beautifullll.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Nice job bira - best wishes :D

Aynur sings with such passion - you can tell from her face expressions that she's lost within the music...
Look to your history and roots to find your true self.
