Hello from Egypt..

Hello friends....
How r u all?...well,I'm Amgad from Egypt...and I discovered my kurdish roots few weeks ago,I discovered that I'm from the city of (Ravansar)in western Iran...descending from the tribe of (Kishki)..
I try now to know more about kurdish culture and language....and I wish u accept me as new member of the family.....
have all nice time!

hi amgad , so welcome to this forum, I know the city of rwansar, it is near sine , it is intresting , my grand father's father was also a kurd living in eygept who came back to Iranian Kurdistan .

why do u think kurds lived in eygpt ? is it since salahadin ?

Oh,thx a lot for answering.....Well,concerning the question,when we came to Egypt...I've read that my family came to here as we lost war against Tatars....
I have a question,what is the name of Egypt in Kurdish...and how may I learn kurdish.....and what dialekt do people in Ravansar speak...?....too many quistions,I'm sorry.........

peopel in rwansar, speak Sorani Kurdish (the same kurdish in Sine [or sanandaj])

for learning kurdish , you may watch some kurdish TV cahnnels. in sattlite , like KurdSat, Kurdistan TV, .Zagros TV... there are some online tutorials.

how r u?....I wonder if this is ur real name,or just a nickname....?.....and I also wonder if this picture of u is for someone in kurdish history?..........
I wonder if there's something that man do to get a kurdish identity?...I mean when there's a kurdish state,how can I prove that I'm kurdish,although I'm egyptian and have never gone to Kurdistan ..?....

Hi Amgad, I don't think anybody would ever have to proove that he is kurdish. it is simple: if you think you are kurdish, then you are!

kak amgad giyan (dear brother amgad), you dont need to do anything to become kurd, just love kurdistan . and then you become kurd.

there is not a kurdish state, but there is a Kurdish semi-state in iraq.
u can go to southern kurdistan (iraqi kurdistan) and live there .

dyaoko is the name of a King in medya empire .
kurds are belived to be from Medes .

welcome brother :) According to my aunt, we got roots back in egypt too, strange realy, so many Egypts having roots back in Kurdistan and vice versa, anyways, welcome to the Forum, seeing forward to get better known with you :)

I am a student - 21 years old - specializing on Arabic language (Bachlor degree)...

I would realy appreciate it... I am probably gonna study in Cairo a semester - at AUC!

May I ask you - how old are you? And what do you do?

Are you based in Cairo? Or should I say: Qa7ira :D
