How do you say it in Kurdish? - Chon ba Kordi ayleyt?
Do you understand? - Te agait?
I don't understand. - Mn te nagam.
I understand. - Mn te agam.
Ah @#$%^&*! My friend Fatih's cat just pissed on my rug! It meowed, tilted it's head and stared at me and then just pissed away. I can't believe this! I should've never volunteered to take care of his cat!
Anyway, the last phrase for today is: How many cats do you have? - Chand pshilat haya?

most common dialect/language is spoken by more than half of kurds. kurmanji is gender divided.
second common dialect/language is sorani. sorani is official language of KRG. sorani is not gender divided. Examples of Baris is in sorani .


anyone that know good resouces for learning sorani kurdish for those who know kurmanji?
