Hi to everybody,

Thought I'll say a brief HI before starting to post & read other posts.
Long story short: I'm 23yrs old, in a relationship with a Kurd thus enthusiastic about learning as much as possible about the Kurds in general. I've already started picking up some words & am enjoying enriching my vocabulary. Been to Kurdistan as well - thought it was an experience worth the trip. I came back with hundreds of pictures & stories to share with friends. Wouldn't think twice about going again :)

If you can - tell your friends to visite Kurdistan. its important that people will see the beuty of this land and the great people who live there. to see that its safe and normal country. one of my dream is to develope tourism in Kurdistan. If you like to read about Kurdistan i can reccoment you my dear little sister blog:

Thanks for all the replies :)

@ Barış: I was in Erbil (mostly since I landed & flew from there), in Suleymania, in Kerkuk (yes, although I've heard it's not the best spot in Kurdistan) & in Darbandikhan. Driving to Darbandikhan was really pretty, especially with the mountains there. It doesn't have to be green to be beautiful.

@ Talsor: Sure, I'll post pictures. I've got plenty & will hopefully have way more soon as I'll be going again.

@ Kulka: Zor supas for the blogs links, very much appreciated :)
