Thanks for the warm welcome. Not really, but I spent lots of time in Senegal every year. I am not a Kurd. But I have great interest about things happening in Turkey as a Turkish National. However, last 20 years I have not been living in Turkey.

The reason I came here, to hear from others on Kurdish issue in Turkey. I also wanted to advocate my view. My political view in general, in my opinion: liberal, left, secular and I am not much fan of nationalism. I have great interests on developing countries, their culture, social and economic problems.

In Kurdish issue particular in Turkey. I would rather to have integration and great freedom of Kurdish people, rather than seeing Kurdish Independence. I am very critical on Turkish people and Turkish State and its policies. I am also critical on Kurdish Nationalists for being extreme and not rational.

so why you disrespect us by some of your statements? i am hardcore nationalist and very sensitive if it comes to kurdish issue.
you said united Kurdistan will loose the war. so remind me how long turkish army - considered themselves as the strongest army in europe if not in the world - cant win with our girls and boys from mountains whom we proudly called gerilla? if you answer that question - answer the other one - how it looks like in front of the statistics, which is the number of fighting people at the each side, the equipement, the situation in which both sides operates (i mean one so called "legally" and the other so called 'illegaly"). and finally answer the question - what would happen if PKK operate with the same number of fighters, with the same amount and quality of equipment and with the support of law? for the last question i will give you the answer - in that situation turkya would dissapear from the universe within one day.
thank you for your kind attention

'us'? Oh, you are speaking for everyone here? OK. Then give me specific post that I disrespect 'you and your friends'. I said the war in the name of the war will lose the war. This is not a disrespect. This is a calculated guess based on the strategic, militaristic and political realities of the region. You are surrounded by Iran, Turkey, Syria, Iraq which all opposing the existing of United, independent Kurdistan. They have strong military. This is not a disrespect. This is a valid opinion.

The war between Turkish army vs PKK is not classical warfare. It is guerrilla war. That is very different. If there is a classic war declared on Kurdistan, you don't have a chance. Turkish army would sweep Kurdistan if there was classic war. And I am not going to go with a childish argument of Turkish or Kurdish soldier is better.

Now let's be kind to our guest. When someone provides valid arguments for his statements, it is our obligation to either refute or respect these.

 - war is war - classical or whatever - what? the truth hurts? your turkish army cant win with us, that the fact, not the calculation. Iraq was trying with us and lost. Soon you will see the rest.
and one thing - maybe for you it would be war in the name of war - coz probably you - enemies would start it. but for us - yes, i am speaking in the name of my beloved kurdish people and Kurdistan - this war will be in the name of our rights and our independence. you know what is childlish? your dreaming about us, which you call 'valid opinion' or "calculation". but of course feel free to write us your fairy tells. but keep in your mind - you can sweep the mountains from the earth, but you cant sweep kurdish nation.

that the perfect example, kak Azamat - coz imagine now if any of us will go with that kind of "statements" (as our 'guest" one) to any turkish forum - i think we all know what would happen - first turks will swear at you straight away and second you will be banned. here - enemies can come and tell whatever and we are still polite to them (i am trying as well, but its a kind of hard to me :D ) - and thats the difference between civilized people and barbarians.

i can show our "guest" a lot of websides where if you post "biji Kurdistan" - turks reply is "Fuck, fucking, fucken" - and other possibly variations of this and other swearing words - its like we dont have even the right to love our country (accordnig to their sick thinking)

'Go with'? Do you even know the definition of the word 'refute'? When I'm not able to agree with someone's statements, I will do anything in my power not to go with these statements. But I try to do that in a civilized manner, and when I lack sufficient arguments for my refutations, there is no other option than to respect someone else's views.

Given a certain context, these phrases can be provocative and even the most radical nationalists know that. Have you seen any Turks posting their slogan here?
