Thanx a lot abdur, very kind of u. And yes, the goal is to expand our branches to other parts of Kurdistan. Our current act of expantion is that we have started some activities in eastern Kurdistan (Rojhelat) with seats in Mahabad and Sina.

Furthermore, we are establishing a collaboration with a newly started aid organisation called Hiwa (also seated in Sweden), and their main area is northern Kurdistan (Bakur) starting in Mardin.

Sincerely

Heresh Z

Sipas brai barez

I will give u a short briefing of what we do, but u can find more information at our website http://www.komak.nu. The English part is basically completed (some pages left to translate) and there is a Sorani part. We are right now working on a version in Kurmanji.

Let's get back to ur questions…
Our main goal is to work with children's educational needs; we have as I mentioned earlier taking over some existing schools in for example Slemani and Ranye, where we have implemented our learning system which is based on the Swedish system. Furthermore we have started some activities in Kirkuk to help "awarakan" (the refugees who where forced out of there but who have returned), we have even started several schools and study circles there in Kirkuk, mostly for girls and women.

In Rojhilat, we have an ongoing project which includes those things that you mentioned, we will distribute Kurdish books and interactive cd:s in several villages and towns there. It depends on the budget how many we can reach. But it should be somewhere between 800 – 1000 children to begin with.

Right now, its not possible to make donations by paypal but it is a good idea, I will look it up and see what the possibilities are. The only way right now is to go through a bank if you live outside of Sweden, information about this can be found on our site. The annual fee is right now 300 Swedish crowns, thats about 40 USD.

Hope this has answered some of your questions and we would be more then grateful if KBU would consider advertising for us on the site.

Lagal rezda

hey if you want to do something usefull and easy , you MUST add Online Donation .

I am in Iran it would be very hard to transfer money to outside of iran , but b Internet it is One click .

so I recommend you to add Paypal and Credit Card as soon as possible.

it is very easy , as you apply for Paypal , [which every european can apply] then you can add an Automatic Donation Botton to your site , [paypal will handle everything for you , you just addd the code]

the other thing , donatiing books is more usefull for iranian children,...not all of them have Computer... specialy in villages...
I can tell you in cities less than 30% of the houses have computer .. [it is growing..but...] Kurdish Cds would be a good idea...

Video CDs would be so much better than Software CDs ,
another question , you said your education book sare based on Swedish educational system. thats goood , but have you translated books to kurdish ? how many books you have translted ?

at the end it would be my pleasure to do what I can for this nice Komak.
