I have started a series on my tumblr : Islamic Art, only devoted to erotism, wine and music :D Ignorant Daesh and other Salafists would be mad to know how many sensual and life-lover was former Islamic Civilisation (in a time when Islam was a CIVILISATION and not a threat against culture and freedom).

There seem to be a wide variety of ways in which people interpret Islam, from our gentle friend who wants nothing more than to help his fellow Kurds to the jihadists who destroy everyone and everything.

From what I see, Islam was born in violence, then mellowed into a more cultural faith, now it is associated with the fundamentalists who have returned to the original more violent and oppressive roots :-s

Which side of Islam will win?

Perhaps it is time for the so-called moderate Muslims to realise that their version Islam has very little connection to the fundamentals of the Islamic faith :ymdevil:

I am playing for the first time with the Rider-Waite Tarot. Many times, I hardly touch the deck when some cards jump immediately on the table.

I am the Queen of Wands and the Knight of Pentacles thinks (or is obsessed) about me :-D

Is your future looking good?

Will the Institute find enough support to keep open?

Will Kurds living under Turkish occupation wake up to the fact that Ocalan is under Turkish control =))

The hardest question of all:

Will Dyaoko ever come here again  :)) =)) :ymdevil: :-w (-| :-w =))

On my questioning daily notebook, today that is the question :

What would you like to buy ?

Clothes, for a new spring garde-robe. The main problem is not money but time, for that weeks are busy. Last saturda, conference about the new book ; thirsday, vernissage au Salon du Livre in the KRG stand, with a Kurdish minister ; friday, newroz in the mayorship of Paris 10th.

So I need to wear more than my old wintery rags, I just have to find the time to go to Boulevard Haussman (fortunately, I work not far from Galeries Lafayette, Printemps and C&A).

Sounds as though you have an interesting and fun week :ymapplause:

C&A??? Is it anything to do with the C&A we used to have in the UK?

Our C&A closed years ago but it was an excellent clothing chain and very much missed

YES it is the same group you are VERY lucky :ymhug:

It is over 10 years since they pulled out of the UK :(

I think they had a problem with trade unions so they just gave up and left

There are many french ppl who are fan of Marks & Spencer (my sister in law for example). They were before where is now C&A , they left France during years, then came back to Champs-Elysees.
