Possible ban on Al Mayadeen

Israeli media reported on Monday that the occupation army and the entity's top intelligence agencies, namely Mossad and Shin Bet, among others, have recommended banning access to Al Mayadeen within the Israeli-occupied Palestinian land amid the ongoing criminal massacres in Gaza entering their second month

The recommendation for the "cessation of the broadcast of Al Mayadeen channel within Israel" comes as the Israelis backed and supported by the United States, are increasing censorship on media outlets exposing its war crimes and genocidal actions in the blockaded and besieged Strip.

"It is expected that the Minister of Communications will ask Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to propose a decision to halt the activities of the channel ... inside Israel at the next cabinet meeting," Israeli media said.

Earlier today, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in occupied Al-Quds Hanaa Mahameed was ambushed by the Israeli Channel 12 correspondent and a group of extremist settlers after luring her into a post office through a call, suggesting that she had mail to be received.

Upon her entry into the post office, she was attacked and harassed by the Zionist group, all while they recorded the physical assaults against the journalist.

Mahameed said in a video post that they went on to prevent her from using her vehicle to escape while making explicit threats.

AlMayadeen's correspondent in occupied #AlQuds, Hanaa Mahameed, was lured into a post office branch and ambushed by a group of Israeli far-right journalists and a channel 12 correspondent, where she was surrounded and accused of publishing fake news about the IOF's practices.… pic.twitter.com/ZEy4nMrzT9

In a decision pushed forward by the regime's top security bodies, the Israeli government had approved last October emergency regulations that authorize the closing of broadcasting stations "that affect the security of Israel."

The Israeli regime has cut off the internet and telecom services from Gaza a number of times since the aggression on the Strip started, most recently being Sunday night, with the longest blackout lasting 24 hours.

Palestinian media outlets and the health ministry reported that during the latest outage, the Israeli military conducted the most violent attack on Gaza since October 7, pointing out that massacres were committed amid complete isolation.

The ministry added that the overnight air strikes resulted in the martyrdom of tens of civilians across Gaza with no means of reaching them. Furthermore, the Palestinian Red Crescent declared on Sunday night that, due to the internet and communication services going out, it had lost contact with all its teams and staff operating in Gaza.

Death Toll in Gaza Exceeds 10,000

On Monday, Ashraf Al-Qudra, the spokesperson of the Gaza-based Health Ministry, confirmed that Israeli bombings have killed 10,002 Palestinians, including 4,104 children and 2,641 women

As the fifth consecutive week of incessant aggression begins, the Israeli occupation army has also left 25,408 people injured, while thousands of Palestinians continue trapped under the rubble of civilian residences and buildings
Among the people killed by the Israeli bombing are also officials and workers of international organizations. On Monday, for example, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) confirmed that 88 of its humanitarian workers have died in Gaza since October 7.

In its latest report, UNRWA also indicated that 48 of its facilities were damaged by the Israeli attacks, generating a decrease in care centers that led to overcrowding of the infrastructures that continue to operate.

So far, the Israeli occupation army has generated the forced displacement of 1.5 million people who are distributed throughout the Gaza Strip heading south. Nearly 750,000 Palestinians are taking refuge in 149 UNRWA facilities spread across Gaza
On Sunday, eight UNRWA humanitarian aid trucks entered the Strip loaded with medical supplies, food and drinking water, but without transporting fuel that is vitally important for the operation of hospitals and water treatment plants.

The Israeli offensive is not respecting international humanitarian law as it continues to target health workers and journalists. Through social networks, doctors who are still alive in Gaza called on their Israeli colleagues not to support the bombing of the Palestinian population.

“We as doctors are ambassadors of peace. We save lives. Israeli doctors who signed a letter promoting bombing of hospitals with patients inside have committed a betrayal to their noble profession and bear responsibility,” the Gaza-based doctors stressed.

Israel detain 56 Palestinians from West Bank

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 (WAFA) - The Israeli occupation forces today detained at least 56 Palestinians in raids at the homes throughout the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

They said the soldiers detained 15 Palestinians in Jerusalem, including two journalists, and 22 from Hebron.

They also detained 11 from Ramallah, and two from Jericho.

In Jenin, the soldiers detained two Palestinians, and four from Bethlehem, including two siblings, one of whom is aged 15.

Violent raids targeted homes, residential apartments, kindergartens, roads, and infrastructure in Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City, killing dozens and wounding others. There are still missing people in the vicinity of the area that is targeted with direct bombardment, where the infrastructure was severely damaged.

In a non-final count, the Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the number of dead and wounded among Palestinian people as a result of the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th has exceeded 10,000, while more than 24,000 were injured.

Israel bombs Medical Complex

An Israeli airstrike on the Nasser Medical Complex in the southern governate of Khan Yunis killed at least eight people and injured dozens, on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza

This comes after Israeli authorities forcibly displaced Gazans to southern areas in the Strip, claiming they would be safe there. However, a substantial number of bombs and shells have targeted residential blocks and civilian infrastructure, such as the Nasser Medical Complex, confirming the occupation's sheer brutality.

The Nasser Medical Complex includes a pediatrics section, which was hit directly and indirectly by Israeli bombs.

In the northernmost part of the Strip, the occupation targeted the vicinities Kamal Adwan and Al-Quds hospitals, located in Beit Lahia and the northeast of Sheikh Zaid. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) explained that an Israeli bomb struck just 50 meters away from Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City overnight
The PRCS issued a statement, alerting international organizations of the critically low fuel supplies at the hospital. The PRCS urged international health and relief organizations "to provide essential aid and supplies to the Gaza Governate and the northern region."

The humanitarian organization warned that fuel will run out of Al-Quds Hospital within the next 48 hours, as the occupation continues to destroy existing energy sources, as well as prevent the entry of fuel into the Strip.

Al-Quds Hospital contains "life-saving equipment, neonatal incubators, and intensive care units," all of which "will cease to function" when fuel runs out, killing dozens of patients in one go.

Bombardment of the hospital's vicinity has taken place non-stop for the past week, the PRCS explained. It revealed that this caused more than 60 injuries among healthcare workers, patients, and displaced people taking refuge in the hospital's courtyards.

On Monday afternoon, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the number of martyrs in the Strip has reached 10,022, including 4,104 children.

Israeli airstrikes have concentrated around residential areas and civilian infrastructure, destroying essential facilities, including bakeries, water filtration systems, fuel depots, hospitals, and schools. "Israel" is yet to be held accountable for its continuous violation of international law and covenants, as the United States continues to block any condemnation of the occupation's actions in UN Security Council sessions
Instead, the Biden administration has opted to equip the occupation with US-made bombs to amass its civilian kill count.

Humanitarian Ceasefire Urgently Needed

UN Secretary-General António Guterres said Monday that the unfolding catastrophe in Gaza makes a humanitarian ceasefire more urgent with each passing hour

As Israel carries out ethnic cleansing in Gaza with the support of the U.S. government, Guterres told the press that the situation in the besieged enclave goes beyond a humanitarian crisis, but is a crisis of humanity.

The escalating conflict is shaking the world, shaking the region and, most tragically, destroying so many innocent lives, he said.

The UN Secretary-General again treated aggressor and victim as equals, stating that violations of humanitarian law came from both Israel and Hamas.

Israeli army ground operations and continued shelling are hitting civilians, hospitals, refugee camps, mosques, churches and UN facilities, including shelters. No one is safe, Guterres said, noting that, at the same time, Hamas and other militants are using civilians as human shields and continue to fire rockets indiscriminately into Israel.

    The way forward is clear:

    Humanitarian ceasefire.

    Respect for int'l humanitarian law.

    Unconditional release of hostages.

Protection of civilians, hospitals, UN facilities, shelters & schools.

Ending use of civilians as human shields.

    More humanitarian aid entering Gaza
In this regard, he said that "the parties to the conflict - and, indeed, the international community - face an immediate and fundamental responsibility: to stop the inhuman collective suffering and dramatically expand humanitarian aid to Gaza."

He said an urgent humanitarian ceasefire is the only way forward at a time when Gaza is becoming a graveyard for children, with hundreds of children killed or injured every day. More journalists have been killed in a four-week period than in any conflict in at least three decades, and more UN humanitarian workers have been killed than in any comparable period in the history of the world organization, Guterres said.

To date, a total of 10,022 Palestinians have been killed, including 4,104 children and 2,641 women, with at least 47 journalists and 175 health professionals reported killed.

I am deeply concerned about clear violations of international humanitarian law that we are witnessing in the Middle East.

The protection of civilians must be paramount.

    They are #NotATarget.

Nobody is above international humanitarian law.
    — António Guterres (@antonioguterres) November 6, 2023
Some life-saving aid is getting into Gaza from Egypt through the Rafah crossing. But the trickle of assistance does not meet the ocean of need, he said.

The Rafah crossing alone does not have the capacity to process aid trucks at the scale required. Just over 400 trucks have crossed into Gaza over the past two weeks, compared with 500 a day before the conflict.

Israeli forces have banned bringing in fuel through the crossing. Without fuel, newborns in incubators and patients on life support will die. Water cannot be pumped or purified. Sewage could soon start pouring into the streets, further spreading disease. Truckloads of critical aid will be stranded, he warned.

Israel has also attacked UN humanitarian workers in charge of distributing humanitarian aid to Gaza, which has been under a total blockade by Tel Aviv for more a month, cutting off fuel, electricity, water and food supplies.

The UN and its partners are launching a $1.2 billion humanitarian appeal to help 2.7 million people in Gaza and half a million Palestinians in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, Guterres said
"The way forward is clear: a humanitarian cease-fire - now; all parties respecting all their obligations under international humanitarian law - now; the unconditional release of the hostages in Gaza - now; the protection of civilians, hospitals, UN facilities, shelters and schools - now; more food, more water, more medicine and of course fuel entering Gaza safely, swiftly and at the scale needed - now; unfettered access to deliver supplies to all people in need in Gaza - now; and the end of the use of civilians as human shields - now," said the UN chief stressing that none of these appeals should be conditional on the others.

The occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is at a boiling point, Guterres said, noting the need to address the risks of the conflict spreading across the region. "We are already witnessing a spiral of escalation from Lebanon and Syria to Iraq and Yemen. This escalation must stop. Cooler heads and diplomatic efforts must prevail. Hateful rhetoric and provocative actions must stop," he said.

"I am deeply concerned about the rise of anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim bigotry. Jewish and Muslim communities in many parts of the world are on high alert, fearing for their personal safety. Emotions are running high. The tension is enormous," he added.

Guterres did not address the origin of the conflict that began not on October 7 but in 1948 with the violation of the fundamental rights of the Palestinians by the Israeli occupiers
However, he called on UN member states to act now to find a way out of this brutal, terrible and agonizing impasse of destruction, to help end the pain and suffering, to help heal those who are broken and to help pave the way to peace, to a two-state solution, with Israelis and Palestinians living in peace and security.

Hamas is NOT using civilians as human shields, Palestinians just want to live on THEIR LAND in PEACE

Most Palestinians look on Hamas as a force to protect and liberate Palestine from the CONSTANT Israeli genocidal attacks

Remember the conflict began not on October 7 but in 1948 with the violation of the fundamental rights of the Palestinians by the Israeli occupiers

8% Israelis took control of 92% Palestinians and have been slaughtering Palestinians and driving them from their homeland ever since 1948

New Israeli massacre in Gaza

GAZA, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 (WAFA) – A new Israeli massacre in the Gaza Strip today leaves dozens of civilians dead, wounded, and buried under the rubble

Israeli warplanes fired several missiles at residential buildings in the center of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, destroying them and killing and wounding dozens of people, mainly children, women and the elderly, according to witnesses.

The fate of many others remains unclear as they were buried under the rubble.

Health Ministry latest figures:

In its latest update on the death and injury toll from the 32-day-long Israeli brutal and barbaric bombardment of the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health said that 10,305 Palestinians were killed, including 4237 children, 2,719 women, and 631 elderly people, and more than 25,000 were injured, in addition to 2,350 people, including more than 1,300 children, still missing

The Ministry said 18 hospitals out of 35 have stopped working, and 71% of all primary care facilities throughout the Gaza Strip have been closed due to damage or lack of fuel, explaining that doctors are still forced to perform surgeries without anesthesia, including those who were injured as a result of the bombing and women who give birth by cesarean section
The ministry added that 117,000 displaced people, in addition to medical and health personnel and thousands of patients, are staying in health facilities and that there are 1.5 million people internally displaced in Gaza, equivalent to more than 70% of the Strip’s population, with about 690,400 staying in 149 emergency shelters designated for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

There are also 121,750 persons staying in hospitals, churches and other public buildings, and about 99,150 in 82 non-UNRWA schools. The remaining 600,000 displaced people are staying with host families, with 150,000 citizens moving to shelter centers in the past few days in search of food and basic services.

The Ministry said that 15% of the forcibly displaced suffer from various disabilities, and most shelter centers are not adequately equipped to meet their needs, warning a public health catastrophe is looming on the horizon in light of the mass displacement and overcrowding of shelters.

10,569 martyrs including 4,324 children

On the 33rd day of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health has released statistics that account for the atrocities the occupation has committed

The number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 10,569 Palestinians, including 4,324 children and 2,823 women, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated.

Additionally, 649 elderly were killed by Israeli airstrikes and shelling, while 26,475 people were injured since October 7
The ministry confirmed that the Israeli occupation committed 27 massacres in the past few hours which killed 241 people. The overwhelming majority of people killed in the Strip are "non-combatants", as Israeli bombs have left no safe space for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli authorities had previously asserted that areas to the south of Wadi Gaza, or the Gaza Valley, would be safe areas for Palestinian civilians. However, the ministry revealed that 49% of recent Palestinian deaths occurred in the southern governates of the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, 2,550 Palestinians have been reported missing, including 1,350 Palestinian children, who are most likely stuck under the rubble left behind by Israeli warplanes. The heinous siege imposed on the Gaza Strip has obstructed the delivery of fuel and life-saving equipment, such as excavation machinery, which would help save victims of Israeli war crimes in Gaza.

So far, the Israeli occupation has killed 193 medical workers, destroyed 45 ambulances, targeted 120 medical institutions, and put 18 hospitals and 40 medical centers out of service through the brutal policies it has imposed on the Palestinian people.

"Israel" continues to breach international laws and resolutions on a daily basis, unimpeded,

Indonesian Hospital under attack

Israeli warplanes targeted the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital, which is located in the north of Gaza City in Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun. Areas to the north of the hospital have seen intense confrontations for the past week, as Resistance fighters push back on invading Israeli troops.

The bombs that struck the vicinity of the hospital came after nine martyrs were transported to it, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

Our correspondent also pointed to the continued bombardment of al-Shujaiyah and al-Zeitoun, two densely populated areas in Gaza City.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) issued a statement on Tuesday, alerting international organizations of the critically low fuel supplies at the hospital.

Mr President, you lie
    and Palestinian children die
President Biden, you lied when you said that you “saw” images of decapitated Israeli children. You lied when you absolved Israel prematurely of the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital massacre and then enabled Israel to target more hospitals and ambulances. As of 5 November, Israel has attacked other healthcare centres, including Al-Shifa Hospital, Al-Quds Hospital, the Indonesian Hospital and Al-Nasser Hospital (in the “safe” south), killing and maiming civilians seeking “safer” shelters

You lie, Mr President, when you deny Palestinians the right to mourn their own victims. You lie when you dehumanise Palestinians by portraying them as human shields only to rationalise Israel’s barbaric murder of thousands of children. You lie when you call Israel’s war against the people of Gaza the “Israel-Hamas” war. This war is a continuation of the 75-year-old Israeli war against Palestine and the Palestinians.

Mr President, your Secretary of Defence was dishonest when stating that your administration “mourns Palestinian civilians” while you stand alone in the international community, not only in opposing the ceasefire but also in replenishing Israel’s arsenal to murder more Palestinian children. Your Secretary of State is lying when claiming that your administration is “committed to the protection of civilian life” when a Palestinian child is being killed every 10 minutes by Israel, with your support.

You lied, Mr President, when you told us two weeks ago that more aid trucks would be allowed into Gaza

The territory received 400 to 500 trucks daily before the latest Israeli war. For almost four weeks, the number of trucks that have been allowed to enter Gaza is less than 20 per cent of what’s needed daily. Unfortunately, you now appear to be serving as a means for Israel to quell international outrage through false promises of delivering food, water, fuel and medical supplies to 2.3 million people.

Israel is further tightening the siege and extending it to natural resources, targeting solar panels producing electricity for hospitals and bombing drinking water storage tanks. At present, the only resource that remains relatively accessible to the people of Gaza is the air, although at times, it’s mixed with the searing stench of Israel’s phosphorous bombs.

Self-defence is a right for the occupied, not the occupier; for the oppressed, not the oppressor. Occupation and blockade are acts of aggression. A power that maintains a system of aggression is not entitled to claim self-defence. An occupier that annexes land and moves its civilian population into an occupied territory in violation of the Geneva Conventions, is the party that uses its civilians as human shields, rendering it ineligible to characterise its war as “self-defence”.
In just twenty days in Gaza thousands of innocent civilians have been slaughtered by the more “civilised” Benjamin Netanyahu. While you, Mr President, reward the Israeli murderous machine with an additional $14.3 billion, and oppose a ceasefire in order to satisfy Netanyahu’s insatiable lust for vengeance. Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin illustrated Israel’s veracious craving for revenge in a television interview: “We still have not revenged in a biblical way… did not burn Gaza to ashes… Do not leave a stone upon stone in Gaza. Gaza needs to turn into Dresden.”

Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu, went further than the diabolical “biblical” revenge, suggesting on 5 November that “one of Israel’s options in the war in Gaza is to drop a nuclear bomb…” because “there is no such thing as uninvolved civilians in Gaza.”

Israel has so far dropped 25,000 tons of high explosives on an area of 140 square miles in occupied Palestine, equivalent to two Hiroshima-sized nuclear bombs. At least 11,000, US made and financed ordinances have murdered more than 10,000 civilians, 70 per cent of whom were children and women, in a war where the principles of proportionality between civilian and military targets shows that murdering civilians is the main Israeli objective. This is evident in the bombing of 200,000+ homes, 203 schools, 53 mosques, three churches, 16 hospitals, civilian convoys, bakeries and water resources.

That number of bombs translates to dropping 78 bombs or missiles over every square mile in Gaza. This is even more startling when considering that approximately 80 per cent of the bombardment is concentrated in an area covering 40 per cent of Gaza, north of Wadi Gaza. This means 157 bombs on every square mile, or one bomb per four acres populated by approximately 16,500 residents.

The population density becomes even more dire in the refugee camps. Refugee camps house Palestinians who were ethnically cleansed from historic Palestine in 1948 and 1967. One of the targeted camps is Jabaliya, a prototype of the Palestinian refugee camps in the Gaza Strip. I have been to Jabaliya, in which homes typically house four to five families of various generations.

The camp’s population of 117,000 people live in just over half of a square mile of land. It’s the most densely populated area within the most overcrowded piece of land on earth. Hovels built wall on wall; alleys barely wide enough for single file individuals to pass between homes. Jabaliya refugee camp has been subject to at least three massacres at the time of writing. More than four hundred people have been killed or are missing under the rubble of their homes; 777 have been wounded.

It’s crucial to note that Israeli acts of brutality targeting civilians do not occur in a vacuum. They follow an Israeli ground offensive from the prior weekend, which was met with fierce resistance. The military made insignificant advances and lost at least 20 elite infantry soldiers. Facing heavy losses, Israel reverted on 31 October to softer targets to inflict the highest level of pain by dropping six bombs weighing one ton each on a single block in Jabaliya refugee camp. Within seconds, fifteen homes disappeared, leaving a large crater. Israel’s “agency of lies” alleged that its raid targeted a Hamas combatant.

Callously, it was prepared to kill or wound 400 civilians and destroy 15 homes to kill one alleged person of interest. Israel’s principles of proportionality in war give it the right to kill and maim 400 human beings because there might be one valuable target. Similar heinous crimes were repeated in Al-Maghazi, Nusierat, Al-Bureij and Al-Shati refugee camps.

The deliberate targeting of civilians has been part of the psychological aspect of Israel’s undeclared strategy ever since its creation in 1948. Civilians have consistently been the majority on every casualty list in every war waged by the occupation state. Unfortunately, the tactic to cause pain by targeting women and children will likely persist as long as Israel remains beyond international law, is allowed to act with impunity, and its citizens escape the same pain
The only possible deterrence to the massacres of Palestinian civilians would be to copy Israel’s strategy and expose Israelis to the same carnage. Israel is a militarised society with 630,000 active and reserve soldiers. Almost every Israeli home has at least one active or reserve soldier in it.

The Palestinian resistance should order Israelis to evacuate Tel Aviv to safer areas further north, and thus make it kosher to target the homes of Israeli officials, government buildings, offices, telecommunication centres, hospitals, ambulances used by the government, banks, universities, airports, police stations, transportation centres, highways, schools, banks and the buildings where they suspect the presence of a combatant. That’s how Israel justifies its killing of civilians in Gaza, so why shouldn’t the Palestinians use the same reasoning in targeting Israelis?

After the world failed to force the US milch cow of foreign aid to agree to a humanitarian pause, the US Secretary of State parroted Israeli objections, claiming that a ceasefire “would simply leave Hamas in place, able to regroup and repeat what it did”. This was almost the same mantra repeated by a predecessor of Antony Blinken, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, during the Israeli war against Lebanon in 2006. She compared the Israeli bombs murdering Lebanese children with “birth pangs”, and said that a “ceasefire would… simply return us to the status quo.”

In that 2006 war, much like today, Israel rejected a ceasefire until soldiers held by Hezbollah were released. The then Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was allowed to murder Lebanese civilians until he had imposed a satisfactory level of pain on them and their country’s infrastructure. In the end, no Israeli prisoner was released without a negotiated agreement meeting Hezbollah’s demands. Blinken’s demand for the release of Israeli prisoners without a negotiated agreement that secures the freedom of Palestinian hostages held by Israel appears as delusional as Rice’s stance in 2006.

Concerning the post-war governance of Gaza, Blinken should have no vote and no say, now or later. The future of Gaza is not his to decide. If it isn’t Hamas, another group will emerge from the same deplorable occupation conditions that gave birth to the movement 35 years ago. Most Palestinian fighters today, whether from Hamas or other factions, were born or grew up during Israel’s blockade of Gaza. Their entire lives have been shaped by living in this concentration camp, and their deepest aspiration has been to break free from their confinement, as they demonstrated during the raid on the camp’s guards on 7 October.

To that end, Israel and the US could succeed in eradicating Hamas only as much as Washington was triumphant in removing the Taliban in Afghanistan, or Israel had lofty objectives to eliminate the PLO in 1982, or Hezbollah in 2006. National movements might evolve, and become more hardened due to circumstance and conditions, as was seen with the rise of Hamas and Islamic Jihad during the First Palestinian Intifada in the late 1980s. In the dichotomy of oppression and liberation there has never been a case in history where a coloniser or an occupier prevailed and a national movement was eradicated by brutality or the murdering of women and children. Take note of that, Mr President, because when you lie, Palestinian children die.

IOF storms Jenin

The Israeli occupation forces storm the Jenin camp, and the resistance fighters targeted its vehicles with explosive devices

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed Jenin from several fronts with military reinforcements from Al-Jalama and Muqabla.

The IOF bulldozed the roads in Jenin, simultaneously closing the entrances to the camp with dirt barriers during the storming. According to local sources, an Israeli drone targeted the residential square in the Jenin camp with a missile, but no casualties were reported.

In turn, the resistance targeted the IOF with a high-explosive device during their raid into Jenin.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Jenin Brigades also confirmed that, as part of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood the brigades’ fighters detonated an explosive device against occupation soldiers and vehicles at the entrance to the Jenin camp.

Footage showed a cloud of smoke rising from the explosion, while witnesses confirmed that the IOF who were attacked, retreated after the explosive device detonated.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from entering the town of Bayt Furik, east of Nablus.

The Lions' Den group had earlier announced carrying out more than 14 shooting operations in the Nablus area and its surroundings.

The Lions' Den confirmed in a message to the leaders Mohammad al-Deif and Saleh al-Arouri and all the resistance leaders that “the West Bank will only be a sword and a shield for you, God willing.”

The group addressed whoever said the resistance was left alone in Gaza: “The resistance will stand victorious, and you will be dishonored and humiliated.” Moreover, Israeli media confirmed that two settlers were injured in a shooting attack near the Itamar settlement in the northern West Bank.

Negotiations for humanitarian truce

A source reveals to Al Mayadeen that negotiations for a 3-day humanitarian truce are underway, citing its main points

Negotiations aiming for a three-day humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip are underway, however, the Israeli occupation continues to stall, according to Al Mayadeen's source.

The source further noted that the Resistance has not specified the final number of captives it could release vis-a-vis the proposed formula, however, it is likely that those set to be released are more than the 12 captives the spokesperson of Al-Qassam Brigade Abu Obeida referred to in one of his speeches.

As such, the captives to be released would be non-military women and children with dual citizenship.

In return, said the source, the Israeli occupation would also release women and children Palestinian prisoners.

Additionally, the source noted that the truce being negotiated is also set to include the opening of the Rafah border crossing and the entry of humanitarian aid to the Strip and the transporting of some of the injured outside of the Strip.

Humanitarian truce or pause?

It is worth noting that the difference between a truce and a humanitarian pause, which is being propagated by Western media, is that a humanitarian pause, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), is defined as a "temporary cessation of hostilities purely for humanitarian purposes", and requires "the agreement of all relevant parties", stressing that typically it is implemented for "a defined period and specific geographic area."

Only way for captives' release is an exchange deal: Abu Obeida

The spokesperson for Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, announced on Wednesday that the Resistance has completely or partially destroyed 136 Israeli military vehicles in Gaza since the start of the ground invasion.

In a televised statement, Abu Obeida confirmed that the occupation forces have suffered significant casualties during confrontations with the Resistance fighters across Gaza axes.

Emphasizing the significant achievements of the Resistance and underscoring the failures of the Israeli entity, the spokesperson pointed out that the military equipment and capabilities utilized by the Israeli army during its ground invasion are typically employed for invading entire countries equipped with state-level military capabilities and systems.

Additionally, Abu Obeida underscored that all the Resistance's achievements came in the face of an army that claims to be "the strongest in the region" and that possesses "massive amounts of armored vehicles and elite forces supported by land, sea, and air."

Meanwhile, the Resistance is inflicting heavy losses on the Israeli army despite having "no tanks, no aircraft, no armored vehicles, not even a mountain, hill, or difficult terrain" to fight within.

Commenting on the performance of the Resistance fighters on the ground, the spokesperson praised the bravery and unprecedented courage of the fighters "33 days into Operation Al-Aqsa Flood," emphasizing that the Resistance continues to fight the Israeli aggression on all fronts, while the invading forces continue to avoid full confrontation.

Concluding the televised statement, Abu Obeida declared a new phase in the battle, warning the Israeli occupation entity of a "new phase of wrath [to be unleashed on the Israeli forces]" and called on Palestinians and fighters across all occupied Palestine to mobilize and "crush the Zionist project."

The Israeli plan is too force the Palestinians from more of their homeland so that they, the Israelis, can take over as they have done so many times in the past

Also it is time Israel released the children they have illegally imprisoned

And what about all the thousands of Palestinian prisoners, many of whose only crime was trying to protect their homes / land from savage Israeli occupation

Hamas denies agreement

Taher el-Nounou, the media advisor to the head of the Hamas politburo, affirms that "negotiations are ongoing, and no agreement has been reached yet."

A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and "Israel" has not been finalized, and negotiations are currently in progress, Taher el-Nounou, the media advisor to the head of the Hamas politburo, said.

El-Nounou stated that once an agreement is reached, it will be announced to the Palestinian people.

"Negotiations are ongoing, and no agreement has been reached yet. In the event of an agreement, this will be clearly announced to our people," el-Nounou said in a statement published on the Hamas Telegram channel.

El-Nounou's remarks came shortly after the White House announced that the Israeli occupation will begin to implement 4-hour pauses in Gaza to allow people to "flee hostilities".

The pauses, according to White House National Security Spokesperson John Kirby, were the fruit of talks between American and Israeli officials in the past several days, including conversations between US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to Kirby, the pauses would let people "escape danger", permit the delivery of humanitarian goods, and even serve as a means of freeing captives.

Evidently, what the US really means is that the pauses are there to free the captives that the Resistance is holding.

"We've been told by the Israelis that there will be no military operations in these areas over the duration of the pause, and that this process is starting today," Kirby explained.

"We understand that Israel will begin to implement four-hour pauses in areas of northern Gaza" with an announcement to come three hours in advance, he added.

On this note, it is worth noting that the US has claimed repeatedly its rejection of the forced displacement of Palestinians from the north to the south of Gaza, saying a new Nakba will not be accepted.

Kirby also added that a ceasefire was completely off the table since it would allow Hamas to "legitimize what they did on Oct. 7 and we simply are not going to stand for that at this time."

Regarding the flow of humanitarian aid to Gazans, Kirby alleged that "a four-hour pause, for instance, will allow potentially to move humanitarian assistance into that localized area over that span of time."

In a separate context, al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian movement Hamas, announced on Thursday that one Israeli soldier, who was held captive, was killed and another was wounded due to Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.

It is noteworthy that the military spokesperson for al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, estimated that the number of captives held by the Resistance ranged between 200 and 250 captives, or more, revealing that al-Qassam Brigades alone had 200 Israeli captives.

In turn, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, announced that the movement holds 30 Israeli captives. At the same time, his deputy, Mohammad al-Hindi, confirmed that most of the captives were soldiers.

Martyrs of Gaza rise to 10,818
    Thousands remain under rubble
The indiscriminate nature of Israeli bombing in densely populated areas has led to catastrophic repercussions, putting further strain on an already overwhelmed healthcare system

As the Israeli occupation continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Qudra reported that the number of Palestinians martyred by the Israeli aggression has risen to 10,818, including 4,412 children, 2,918 women, 667 elderly individuals, and 26,905 injured since October 7.

Earlier today, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces bombed Al-Nasr Children's Hospital in Gaza City and Al-Aqsa Medical Clinic in Khan Yunis, noting that ambulances could not reach the area due to the non-stop Israeli bombardment
Furthermore, our correspondent confirmed several injuries among the displaced and wounded at the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza due to the intense artillery shelling by Israeli warplanes in the vicinity of the hospital.

The Israeli occupation forces also shelled the vicinity of al-Shifa Hospital in the western part of Gaza City. In the past few hours, mass casualties were reported in the central region, with the most recent being the shelling of a residential complex, resulting in the killing of 14 Palestinians.

1,400 children remain trapped under the rubble

The spokesperson for the Gaza Ministry of Health reported that, as of now, 22 casualties have been transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and the Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah. This was a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting the Hijazi family's residence in the northern region of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

He added that the Israeli forces also targeted the Abu Rahmah residence west of the Nuseirat refugee camp and the central area of Gaza. Additionally, Al-Alwan Tower in the Fakhoura district in the northern part of Gaza was also hit.

Al-Qudra further noted that over the past few hours, the Israeli occupation forces committed 20 massacres, leading to the killing of 249 Palestinians, with the possibility of this number rising. He also highlighted that "Israel" has committed more than 1,118 massacres against entire Palestinian families since the start of the aggression
The Government Media Office in #Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation committed 1,118 massacres, the majority of the victims being children and women.

He also stated that the Ministry of Health has received 2,650 reports of missing individuals, including 1,400 children who are still trapped under the rubble since the commencement of the aggression on Gaza.

Children suffering from kidney diseases are left without treatment

Elsewhere in his remarks, the spokesperson for the Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces have intensified their attacks on medical staff, resulting in the loss of 195 healthcare workers and the destruction of 51 ambulances.

In addition to this, 130 healthcare facilities have been targeted, putting 18 hospitals and 46 health centers out of service due to both the attacks and the depletion of fuel.

Al-Qudra pointed out that these violations against the healthcare system represent a clear breach of UN Security Council Resolution 2268 of 2016, which emphasizes the importance of respecting medical professionals and refraining from attacking hospitals and healthcare facilities.

He further noted that the Gaza Ministry of Health has issued numerous pleas for assistance that reached various parts of the world and all relevant parties, but these appeals have gone unanswered. As a result, several new hospitals in Gaza have run out of fuel.

Al-Qudra announced that services have come to a halt at the sole government-operated Al-Ayoun Hospital in Gaza, as well as the only Mental Health Hospital in the region.

He also discussed the collapse of the last remaining lifeline for medical care for children in Gaza and northern Gaza, as services have been discontinued at Al-Rantisi Specialty Hospital, Al-Nasr Children's Hospital, and, previously, the Durra Children's Hospital.

The suspension of services in children's hospitals has deprived sick children in Gaza of critical care and treatments, including kidney dialysis, cancer treatment, cardiac and respiratory care, spasm management, and internal medicine services, as per the spokesperson
He added that work has ceased at Al-Awda Hospital, stressing that several hospitals, including the Indonesian Hospital, Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, and Al-Shifa Medical Complex, are on the verge of going out of service.

Gaza has lost 50% of houses in one month

The Director of the UN Development Program Regional Bureau for Arab States, Abdullah Al Dardari, revealed that Gaza has lost 50% of its housing structures in just one month, which is a percentage equivalent to what Syria lost over four years of war. Rebuilding the damage will be a considerable challenge, and the United Nations is expected to grapple with a long-term humanitarian crisis even after the aggression ends.

During the 11-day war on Gaza in 2011, 1,700 homes were lost, and only 200 of them have been rebuilt, as mentioned by Dardari

It is worth noting that the International Red Cross temporarily suspended its patient escorts after one of its truck convoys came under fire in Gaza, an incident described as "deeply alarming" by William Schomburg, the head of the organization's Gaza office.

US sending thousands of missiles to Israel

The United States is transferring tens of thousands of artillery shells intended for Ukraine to "Israel", to support the occupation in its ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip

Israeli media revealed information about the United States redirecting tens of thousands of American artillery shells to “Israel” after they had prepared them for the war in Ukraine.

According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, an American ship “unloaded tens of thousands of 155 mm shells,” noting that this shipment of shells is intended to support "Israel" in its war on the Gaza Strip and also in Lebanon.

The newspaper pointed out that the occupation unloaded a cargo ship carrying about 2,500 tons of military equipment sent to the Israeli occupation army - around 170 containers - and that the equipment was loaded onto hundreds of trucks and transported to military units.

This comes after the US has begun sending smaller military aid packages to Ukraine in order to stretch out support, given a stalemate in Congress over Ukraine financing, according to the White House.

White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, told reporters that the United States intends to support Ukraine for as long as feasible while Congress debates further funding.

The cut in funds comes amid the passing of a new $14.3bn aid bill to "Israel", despite warnings against the bill. The Republican measure was approved by 226-196, including 12 Democrats and two rejected Republican votes.

US aircrafts to the Meditarranean

Earlier this week, two US aircraft carrier strike groups, recently deployed to the Eastern Mediterranean, carried out a joint exercise simulating the possibility of being targeted by ballistic missiles and other aerial projectiles.

The naval war fleets were commissioned to the region by Washington to assist "Israel" after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 left the occupation entity in a weakened state.

This exercise comes as the war on Gaza saw Israelis committing some 1,000 massacres so far, with the number of Palestinians killed so far exceeding 10,000 martyrs, the majority of whom are children and women.

A total of 11,000 US military personnel participated in the drill, while the Italian warships Fasan and Margottini, also recently dispatched by Italy to the region following the start of the battle, joined the two carrier strike groups to exercise NATO alliance integration.

“The ships and aircraft of two US Navy aircraft carrier strike groups conducted joint exercises over the last three days,” the US Sixth Fleet.

“Sailors and naval aviators from the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) Carrier Strike Group (CSG 12) and those of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) Carrier Strike Group (CSG 2) trained on high-value unit defense, ballistic missile defense, replenishments-at-sea, cross-deck flight operations, and maritime security operations."

Earlier last month, a US Marine rapid response force headed to the eastern Mediterranean Sea due to concerns about the war in Gaza potentially expanding into a regional war, CNN reported, citing two officials.
