What do you people think? Al-Hakim is very powerful in iraq, and is said to have good relations with kurds. His grandfather always backed up the kurds during Saddam.

I always knew that Arabs were/are better folks than Turks and/or Iranians. There will always be some Arabs who have sympathy for us and back us and Kurdistan. But you will never find a Turk or an Iranian who is pro Kurdish and pro Kurdistan.

thats not true. there are good iranians and probably turks too.
I am sure there are more good iranians to Kurds than Arabs.

if arabs could prevent Southern Kurd, they would do that...

even hakim....look at what he has said about kirkuk.

Kurd enemies in my opinion:
1. turks (they have eliminated kurdish emirates and killed alot of kurds back then, and between 1920-1938 they killed at least 500 thousand kurds and they are still killing kurds)
2. Arabs (Calif Omar started the genocide on kurds and he is the one who started the Anfal not saddam, the genocide continued till 1991)
3. Iranians (They too eliminated kurdish Emirates in their occupied parts of kurdistan and they killed many after the down fall of Kurdistan republic in Mehabad, their genocide still is going on)

Yes, but still, Arab-league condemned in Cairo more than 10 years ago “Bath-activities against human rights”, especially violations against Kurds. Also they were one of the first who recognised semi-autonomous region in South-Kurdistan. (if you want I’ll give dates, names, places…)
Of course, in general Arabs are our enemies too, but this enemy has a face! We are surrendered by many “faceless” enemies! Iranians (our so called brothers –man I hate them-) and Turks (my grand-grandmother called them “Black-Romans”/”Rom-Rashj”) are destroying and stealing our legacy, our identity, our history, our roots. That’s much worse than “just kill some Kurds in the mountains”! These enemies are trying to assimilate us!
Through modern history we were oppressed by Persians and Ottomans, our land was divided by those empires.

Persians separated Lors from Kurds. They are the most worse enemies next to the Turks. [Of the Kurds]
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

There are always exceptions to every race. There are Good arabs, and their are bad arabs, same goes with Turks, and Persians, and even kurds. Durings Anfal a number of kurds helped saddam's army, in fighitng the kurds in the mountains. Since Saddams Army were not used to mountain fighting.

The point is, is that we should not judge an entire race, over what their goverments have done.

I don't think we should be talking of enemy races.. it is meaningless.... Iranian nationalism, Turkish nationalism and Arab nationalism are problems for the KUrds... no doubt equally to occupying governments.... but if we condem a people if fear we are no better than those who oppress us....
