Are we done with the insults...?

I don't look the least bit like that guy - he's a dwarf in comparison... And let's be brutally honest: he's no looker either...

Thank you Raman for the info about your background in designing (and your sister's too)... That's interesting. And it's funny how I always feel the same way - whenever I think of something (like a new style of clothing or piece of outfit), it doesn't take more than 3-6 months before it's in the stores... Before it's "in" - and everybody's wearing it...

By the way - these photos are from 2002 or so - and that's a while ago... I don't look the same, nor wear the same... Although I do have that jacket in my closet - it's full of memories... :)

It took me about 6 months to come up with all those designs... Or even less - It's been a while, so I don't quite remember... But it didn't take me long at all... Especially less if you omit the time I spent inbetween not designing...

Do you like the designs, Raman? They're "ancient" by now...

SORRY hazaar times lol , i meant to say that the blazer is like that . Well , Im more into mens fashion, but I look at the whole thing as a form of art. I love the 70s style suits , not the cheesy printed leisure suits but the YSL/Ralph Lauren type suits from 70s GQ . I think they are so fucking cool . I love pointed lapels ,double vents and baggy trousers . Mens suiting now a days sucks , most of it looks gay or euro fag( no offense ) all that dior hedi slimane shit . Maybe in europe , straight guys wearing skinny suits and pants works but in north america , you will be called a fag or an EMO lol ,on top if your destorying your reproductive abilities lol. Anyways , if I had time , I had hoped to bring back an updated version of the demob suit from the mid late 40s but updated ofcourse , I think its very sophisticated yet cool and slick.
I just take clippings from mid 70s GQ and go to delhi and get tailors to make it and I go 3-4 times for fitting and to make sure detailing is right . Its like saville row of the east but at the fraction of the cost . holla! As far as girls fashion, i think as long as they look good , they can make anything look good lol. I dont like girls in skinny jeans for some reason though , i find it looks very jerry springer and trailer trash. Looove chicks in dresses, heels and tight tops hehe \:D/ (hey im a guy what can i say )

That's quite alright bira :D

Yeah - I see you're quite oppinionated about this... Although I'm not into the European style of clothing - I do like bits and pieces here and there... My own style is more mature, sophisticated and less commercial - I never realy liked "commercial" (anything)... I like style to be personal - and each and everyone of us is different from one another - so we should be able to cook up each our own style... But obviously, one can't expect that from everybody - as not everybody cares enough or dares enough... :)

Great to get your oppinion, though... Nice to get some perspective on the issue...

I previously liked Tom Ford for Gucci and YSL ,his menswear ,now the brand sucks since tom ford left and been left in the hands of idiots IMO . I think the only decent wearable IMO clothes are from Versace.I was at Saks Fifth ave, I tried on this beige velvet blazer ...it was soo effin pimp. I will wait for the sale. Tom Ford opened a new store in new york , its like 1930s style salon ,but it was waaaaaaaaaay to expensive 3000 bucks for a suit , is ridiculous , At Versace you can get good shirts for 100 bucks , I bargain hunt at Century 21 in new york . My sis is a big fan of Chloe under Phoebe philo but she left ,now she likes some new york designers. I forget their names. Yeah she likes Missoni and DKNY.

Funny... I always said I prefere Versace to any other designer(s)... :) Donetalla Versace, that is... She is realy innovative and her style is mostly very pure and simple...

I like some other Italian designers too... Bertoni etc...

Afghan?

The story of Sohrabê Rostemê Zal is an "international" (if you like) epic which most Iranic peoples call their own... Interesting you should mention "the" meaning of the name. Since in all the languages I've heard it in, it carries a different meaning. In Persian it's supposed to mean "Rosy Glow" ( ) In Kurdish it's believed to have derived from "Sorav" - which means "Red Water" in e.g. "Blood"... Whereas others mean to say it has derived from "Zorav" which would be "Strong Water" - perhaps a synonym for "Alchohol"... :-k

Hahaha  Alright - at least Bikram Singh looks better than that other guy...

But in all honesty, you're not being fair... You've seen one picture (?) of me and you've already made up your mind... :o

Here - I've changed my avatar... See a different side of me... Now, you'll find I don't realy "look" like Bikram either... I hope you agree! Hahaha

YES dude , Sohrab not sohrav , was Afghan but see , afghanistan was central to Kharzemid empire before it was annihilated by turkic/mongol tribes in 12-13 the century . All poets like Rumi , Omar Khayam come from there lol , hard to belive but its true . Sohrab came from some province in central Afghanistan. lol.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sohrab. That province was famed for lots of Buddhist monastries ,hence the inspiration and influence.
I can understand Dari (Pure Persian) but Farsi accent is very thick , lots of oos , they dont say Jaan , they say Joon , Tu becomes To . Interestingly a native dari speaker can understand Farsi but the converse isnt true lol. Im not a native speaker but I understand basic persian (dari)

Well yeah versace mens suitings are really bad ass ,the quality is impecable . Versace girls are always HOT , super HOT , her girls always look like sexy sirens .I mean given donnatella is a drug addict, she comes up with sleek designs , i wonder how she does it. Bertoni isnt that a chocolate brand lol oh wait thats bertolli lol. Roberto Cavalli should be a designer you like he always does ethnic stuff but in a slutty way lol. The new Gucci under frida is shit now , under tom ford it was soo sleek now its like H&M for rich people lol.

no alcohol isnt zohrab its Sharab lol hahahaha...yes I noticed you changed your profile to something cooler and darker lol , now youve graduated to looking like the Kurdish Napolean lol , the hairstyle and goatee is spot on lol. But your still similar in tone to bikram singh lol. YOU KNOW ITS TRUE .
