Future of Iran?

PostAuthor: Teshub » Sun Dec 07, 2008 10:43 am

Considering the deep-rooted conflict of Persians with the world, what do you thing will happen to Iran? Do they solve the conflict through diplomacy? or we will witness a military assault on Iran? then what are the most probable scenarios? :?

For now, Iran is going to stay in the same position it has been in since 1979: mediocre growth, endless posturing against the West, and little-to-no real progress.

There may be a crisis next year if oil continues to fall. But I don't think we'll see any significant changes.

G*D forbid any unneccessary war occurs but I think that Israel will attack Iran's nuclear facilities and that it will result directly in a war between Iran and Israel. Of course, Syria and Hezbollah will join Iran (no questions asked) and Hamas from within the Palestinian Territories. American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan will most probably lend a hand to fight Iran. This will give an oppurtunity for Kurds in the west and Balochis in the east to cooperate with Americans in fighting Iran on the ground. And as Kak Kurdi-Bakur said, it will be in America's interest to help Kurds. This is all hoping that Russia and China do not interfere. If all goes well then most likely Iraq will be broken up into 3 parts (Sunni, Shia, Kurd) and Iran will also be given a makeover. Kurdistan, Balochistan, Luristan, Farsistan, Azerbaijan, etc. This is the positive possible outcome... Iran is not comparable with Iraq. Israel will have a tough fight, and I have my doubts whether Barack Obama will help Israel or not...

Israel could attack Iranian nuclear infrastructure. But this is an impossible mission because of geographical and Iranian capability factors. Most probably it will end in a serious failure and put Israel under a great threat from aggravated Iranians and their supporters. Iran will not hesitate to use Syria for a major ground attack against Israel. In this situation either Israel uses nuclear means to neutralise Iran or America and Nato have to liberate Iran to stop Israel using nuclear means. Most probably the last scenario will take place, in which case Iran will be remade from confederate secular democratic states.

Yes there is no slight doubt that Iran will be divided among various ethnic minorities, but the question is how this division will occur? probably first parts that will be separated are Kurdistan and Baluchistan.
Or maybe all at once!

Iran will possibly be divided into many pieces of lands

Because Iran have many ethnic groupus and the only way to keep the unity of Iran is Shia religion

Azeris: Tebriz and Ardabil regions.

Kurds: Urmiya, Mahabad, Sine and Kirmansan regions.

Arabs: Khuzestan regions with cities like Abadan, Ahwaz and Khoramabad.

Persians: Zanjan, Hamadan, Qazvin, Qom, Gilan, Mazdaran, Teheran, Semnan, Esfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad, Birjan, Yazd,

Kerman, Busher, Fars, Homozgan, Ilam and Lorestan regions.

Turkomans: Golestan and North Horasan regions.

Balochis: Iran Shahr, Chabar, Khash, Zabol, Zahedan, Sarevan and Nik Shahr cities.

I think the division will be like this.
