long time i wasnt here, almost two years, today i read my posts. a lot of things changed since that time. first - as all my great kurdish friends say - i am "ex-polish", all of them call me "kurdish", "kurda", "helweri". thats how i am calling myslef as well. coz you may believe me or not - my heart changed completly into kurdish. and i am proud of that. really very proud and thats my biggest happiness. i live everyday life with kurdish music, with kurdish language, kurdish food and Kurds - i am working with a lot of Kurds, the most wonderful people in the world. i cant imagine who i would be and how would i live without all that things and all these people. no matter of the fact that the boy - hewleri boy, whom i love is no longer with me (my feelings stay the same and will be like that till the last day of my life) - i am a new person, not Kurd, but kurdish. i got to know a lot about kurdistan (although for me still not enough) and my sorani is much better than before (still very poor in fact). last sprig i learned for few weeks with the great person - Seevan, wolverhampton university teacher, sociologist. he gave me the good basis, so now i am trying by myself, as much as i can.
nice to meet all of you again and hope to be in more contact than for the last few months.
esta min kurdishim - min sarbarzim!

sorry for late answer, i was online here, but busy with other things, thats why i answer now.
most of kurdish music is wonderful and i injoy that, but my favourite is Zakariya, Ciwan Haco (who was the first taht i got to know), Ahmad Kaya, Azdhar Wahabi, Aziz Waisy - i think too many to mantion. I like also some persian, like Navid & Omid.
Food - i have to repeat - all is great, but my number one is briyani.
and i forget one song - its from Gardalul drama - this song (and the drama as well) means a lot to me, for many reasons.

min bashim, zor supas bo to.
rastakat - Azhdar Wahbi. the song you mentioned - Belence, is really great, one of thouse that makes me to feel really alive. i dont have it in my winamp player in computer, i listen to album "Lem bbura". But "śerchopy" is also on of very good. the first of Ciwan that i liked long time ago was - "Dilketme".
briyani i used to eat usually with lamb.
i am looking for the text of song "Kurdistan" by Zakariya. I can get a bit from what he is singing, but not everything of course and also i am not sure if i get it in correct way.

i know that one with english subtitles, that s what i always listen to. i dont know if your language is sorani, coz your name looks like kurmanji to me - i might be wrong of course, but if you are sorani - you can try to write down the lirycs when you listen to the song directly. if you can of course.
anyway - zor zor zor supas - for you trying to find it.
