Hi, I'm a 26 year old girl from Norway, I am engaged to my Kurdish boyfriend I was very glad that i finally discovered this site,since I've been looking for ways to learn the language(Sorani) I know a little basic Kurdish,but I need to learn more,much more, and finding good dictionaries and languageprograms is difficult, so zor sopas for this site
Hey elissa Welcome here.We were really missing a norwegian girl here. I think by now you have discovered there are quite a lot of Kurds in Norway and I guess your boyfriend is from East Kurdistan (The Iranian occupied one) because most of the Kurds in Norway are Eastern Kurds.Anyway lets not make you confused in the first day by writing a lot (in wrong English)
Thanks=) no your english is just fine=) he's from Kirkuk,actually.. and yes I have noticed that there are quite a lot of Kurdish people in Norway..I have learned a lot about Kurdistan and the way of life from my boyfriend already,so now I'm concentrating on learning the language=) I've found that Kurdish music is not at all what I imagined,and i listen to it alot,and learning from it too=)the more I understand,the better it gets;)

yeah,most people want to live near oslo or in oslo..myself,i don't get what the fuss is about.. hehe..I live in a small town in northern norway,and I think it is much better than Oslo:) so,I know exactly what you mean about the nature=)
