Hello people

Hello everyone :D

I have no idea how this works :oops:

I am an English lady and I have had Kurdish friends for over 30 years :D

My original 2 Kurdish friends, 2 brothers from northern Kurdistan, are still my closest friends, as are their families, friends and many members of their communities. The ladies are extremely welcoming and friendly :D

As a teacher and a community worker, I also made friends with many Kurds form Iraq, Syria and Iran, along with VERY MANY different cultures. Of all the different cultures I have had the pleasure of knowing the Kurdish people the people whose love and friendship I cherish the most :D

The saddest thing is that Kurdish people are the people who seem to know the least about their own history :(

My intention is to try and change that :)

Actually Entiya is doing great job on Facebook posting a lot of things concerning Kurdistan. We all appreciate her affords.

Hope you will have good time with us here (as you will see sometimes we are a bit crazy, just to take our thoughts away from problems for w while) :D
