Guess which country is becoming submerged ENGLAND

I was awake most of Saturday night / Sunday morning wondering if my roof was going to fly away

The fields near me do not bad flooding but many have had a few inches of water on them for WEEKS

Thought I would post some BBC Articles and Videos to show how bad the ONGOING situation is

UK floods: More flood misery in sodden south

UK floods: Severe flood warnings issued for Thames

Fourteen severe flood warnings have been issued along the River Thames in Berkshire and Surrey amid concern that people and property are at risk.

The Environment Agency is also warning of rising water in the Somerset Levels, and there are flood fears in Worcester.

Voices from storm-hit South West

Fierce winds and heavy rain have battered the South West of England for weeks and more dire weather is forecast in the coming days.

Why my interest in the floods - nobody has bothered to ask me - even when I write that all the fields near me are covered in water

I have a vested interest because if all the weather forecasts turn out to be right - I am going to be flooded SOON !

All around me there are ponds and lakes that were not there a month ago - many local farmers have moved stock to higher land - all the fields close by are now empty of animals

I really do not think I will survive the weekend without the water coming in - it just sits there on the grass and has nowhere to go - now when it rains the water comes UP from the drains :ymsick:

If the rain stops later today I will be going out for a final stock up before the really severe storms hit at the end of the week :ymsick:

Dogs do not like going out to pee when the wind blows them off their feet - I shout walkies and they go back to bed refusing to move

Even if I am lucky enough to escape the flooding (which I very much doubt) I will be cut off - the bridge one side of me is now too dangerous to use due to flooding - and the road the other side of me has a couple of inches of water covering it - I have plenty of bottled water - tinned food - candles - so even if surrounded I could survive for a month - just throw the dogs out of upstairs window every now and again :ymdevil:

Honestly you have to be here to realise how bad this is - the worst thing is the railway embankments keep collapsing - many train services now replaced by buses - this is almost all over the south of England

After all my complaining - how is it in France - do you have any of these problems?

DEEP JOY

The wind has changed direction - the worst of this storm is now moving northwards so I might survive the day without my roof blowing off :ymparty:

Yeah, it is good to save plenty of waters, because in flood disaster that missed the most : WATER.

Brittany was hit by tempest (wind more than rain). Here, in Paris, it is quite sunny, not very cold, as if we were in March.

You are very lucky - you are so close to England but do not appear to have any of our flooding :-\

The good news is I have not been flooded YET !

With the weather that is coming my way over the next few days I do not hold out hope hope of keeping my feet dry

Cannot let my computers get wet - got to brush up on my knowledge - could earn £500 per day in Linux - if I was not helping my friend with his business :-o
