2017 : a year in Duhok

In the city I saw on a car window, posters of Barzani and a BELÊ (yes) + the Kurdish flag. I am sure it is KDP print, but it any case, it is a mistake. The KRG should make a campaign by insisting on the fact it is a YES for Kurdistan not for Barzani or the current government. I don't think the No could win, but a large abstention would harm the weigh of that referendum.

Agreed it should be:

YES for KURDISTAN

When it is over, I intend to ask my friends if they voted YES and any who did not vote yes will no longer be any friend of mine

Something terrible happened : The 2 kittens are missing since yesterday evening. They were in the garden with Pirouette at 7 pm and at 8, everybody was gone. As they were with their mother, I did not worry. But this morning, she came back at 7am, alone, and she began to search them around, by calling.

An accident could not happen to both of them in the same time. I worry someone might have killed them or stolen them, even if the area is quite desert by night.

As they were with their mother, I did not worry. But this morning, she came back at 7am, alone, and she began to search them around, by calling.

Surely nobody would steal your kittens or kill them

I hope they turn up alright soon

Perhaps they have got trapped somewhere

They are young and adventurous perhaps they have fallen into something they cannot get out of

Papillon (the boy) came back at 8 pm with Pirouette. I don't know if she has found him or if he found himself his way. Now he is at home and Pirouette is gone. I hope she will find Pistache : she is the shy one and easily frightened, and less agile for jumping.

Papillon is very happy to be at home and jumps everywhere.

I just wish that Pistache comes back also, now she is alone.

UPDATE : Pirouette brought back Pistache also

They are ok and healthy and ready to play again… but happy to be at home after 24 h of wild life.

I am sure the big trauma was for me not for them, they have already forgotten.

Now Pirouette is relieved also and gone to hunt and to meet her Lover.

24 hours in the wild is a long time for mischievous adventurous kittens to be away

I won't let them going out by night, but night falls soon in Kurdistan, we are living with the summer time. At 7.30 it is dark. So they play with Pirouette in the garden and at 8, I take them inside. But this time, I was phoned by a friend and they escaped. They have followed Pirouette or their father who was around also.

Very wise they are far too little and far too adventurous
