KRG condemns terrorist attacks against Yazidis
Statement by the KRG Spokesman
Updated 15 August, 19.10 Kurdistan-Iraq time (GMT +3)
15 August 2007
Yesterday four suicide bomb attacks targeted the Kurdish Yazidi community in Gir Uzeir and Siba Sheikh Khidir, which are near Mosul and outside the KRG-administered area. More than 200 people were killed and about 200 injured.
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) condemns this cowardly and barbaric act against innocent civilians of this tolerant religious minority. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims. We are very grateful for the prompt cooperation and coordination of the Multi-National Force with the KRG in assisting the injured and survivors.
The Kurdistan Regional Government remains steadfast in its resolve to help the Iraqi government and security forces to bring to justice the murderers responsible for planning these cowardly acts, and will continue to provide assistance and aid to the effected areas, the survivors and their relatives.
The KRG Council of Ministers has declared that tomorrow, 16th August, will be a national day of mourning in Kurdistan.

Please.....these are only words that will not bring the dead back.
The ethnic minorities of iraq are being exterminated under the eyes of the power breakers in Iraq; Kurds and Iraqi Shi’ia Backed by Iran.
A Week ago these villages received death letters but not a single security force moved a finger to protect them from this eminent threat now that they are dead every one is crying crocodile tears. Islamic State of Death…I mean iraq is coming and it will burn the green and brown with it.

Either way - the Kurds got screwed... Not the Arabs and not the Assyrians and not the Turkmen...
We lost more than 200 of our brothers and sisters... May they rest in peace...
