Development in Hewler

Home and commercial construction:

Naz City Apartment Complex:

Kempinski hotel on the left, don't know the building on the center:

The Old Market, now rapidly being encircled by enclosed markets and new malls. The whole area will be enclosed by a series of massive malls in the future.

The interior of the left-side mall in the above picture:

The Sheraton:

Please add your own. I want to see lots of pictures of construction and development in Kurdistan, not just of buildings but also roads, parks, etc.

I'm unable to see the pictures as well. I even clicked ''Quote'', then opened another window, copied and pasted the jpgs and ''The connection was reset'' on all of them.

This is the 3rd photo from the original post above:

Bottom right looks just like a typical American or British surburb. It lacks character. What a shame. And they don't seem to have much green area to each house. :(

Who me? I just think those houses don't have much Kurdish character to them. Perhaps that's not what the people living there want, I don't know. To me it seems a bit too clinical looking. But anyway, looks not as important as improved living conditions right. :)

Yea, Hewler isn't realy pretty, but has interesting ancient history. Here are some cool pictures:
