I believe the earliest settlements of Kurds in what is known now as Iraq was in 612 BC when the Median and Babilonian conqured and divided the Assyrian Empire .The land south of Ninava was taken by babilonian and from Ninava going north was taken by the median . The median empire lasted around 60 years and was later destroyed by Achaemenid Empire or Persian Empire .

how do you know for sure it is land of kurds and not türkmeneli? i read before sumerians who came to ıraq between 3500-4000 years ago were from central asia and started first civilization of the world. linguists found at least 300 words to be of türk origin. also when they excavated in türkmenistan it showed cities of sumerian origin alot like to ones in nuzi (kerkük) ur and eridu.

We are not saying that tukman are sub-human or they are any less than any othere nation , So do not take a defensive stand , because no one is attacking you . Any nationalists with half a brain can write some artical therorizing such and such for the main purpose of propaganda to expand their national identity or creat a sense of belonging. That however does not make it a fact . There is similarities between the pyramids in Egypt and suoth America , Does that mean they were build by the same people ????
The most interesting part about what you wrote was "The turks being the pre-sumerian in mesopotamia" , Therorising that is not only rediculous , it is also mind numming . You could be right though , but only in a parallel world .

It is just an expression used when someone makes no sense , It does not mean that I think you are on drugs .nuray wrote:i asked how do you know for sure? and i did not say it is fact. kurd nationalists write fiction propaganda too! so how do you know what is correct?
You have Stockholm syndrome my dear Nuray , it is a psychological condition mostly can be found in people whom have been kidnaped or abused for a long period of time . People with your condition shows signs of loyalty to the abuser regardless of of any logic .

nuray - tell me, if you can, why you are against us? why you think the big nation, of about - at least - 40 milion population - has no right for the independent country? cause it means that the occupiers will loose the richest regions? do you know why in 1923 england broke all promises from sevres (1920)? maybe we will have independent country if there wasnt any oli in kerkuk. if kurdistan was poor region of the world - maybe would be independent now. but we are rich. but you know what? the richest things that we have is in our hearts - that nobody can occupied.
