I am atheist but agree with your points of view 100%. The secret, which inspired the concept of this building, must be the idea to find the highest point for Muslims to pray as this means as far as an ordinary Muslim concerned, the higher a point where he/she can pray implies the nearer he/she gets to the God. Obviously, the hidden agenda behind it, is commercial. If this was not he reason they wouldn't have take such a great risk. It has cost 1.5 billion dollars and possibly it needs at least one million dollar maintaining cost each day. The only way to recover the cost and make it profitable, is to make it an all season tourist site.In this case, nothing could be better than inviting Muslims all over the world to come to pray at highest point. It is a good business common sense. If I am right, we will soon see tourist companies advertise to take people to this tower as Pilgrims.
