There is this guy on an Iranian forum called 'kermanshahi1' I call him kermanjashi1, he is an ultra-Iranian nationalist Kurd, he hates Turkey for their treatment of Kurds yet he is fine with Syria, Iran and co... he also once said 'those kurds of Iraq cause trouble' believe me, so far what I've seen from kermanshan is not good.

I know. Most of them dream of a Pan-Iranian country extending from the borders of Pakistan all the way westward to the Mediterranean sea!

But, to each his own. They want to be with them Persian fellas, let them be!

That's the kind of mentality we've been losing land to for the last 500 years. If their Kurdish national sentiment has been depleted by Iranian propaganda, it means they are ignorant and thus easy to influence from our side aswell.

We Kurds seem to suffer from an inferiority complex, however. We need to get rid of that, otherwise there won't be a 'Kurdistan' anymore some day.

What mentality are you talking about exactly!?

We Kurds seem to suffer from an inferiority complex

Sheesh! This has been the only forum I hadn't seen someone (Mostly Turks) saying Kurds have (inferiority complex). Well, until you broke the ice and said it!
It seems more like a trend Turks are used to saying.

The mentality of allowing externally-created division among Kurds to determine the map of Kurdistan.

You are mistaken. The Turkish stance towards Kurds will not affect us since we treat them like our 'main enemy', alongside the Arabs and Persians. It's the Armenians and Assyrians who are saying and spreading that, and when Turkey acknowledges its genocidal past, they will make extensive us of it, so that Kurdistan will be occupied once more. Just take a look at forums like Hyeclub and you'll see.

So why keep quiet about our inferiority complex? We ourselves should be the first to remark it, and we have already failed in doing so. From self-criticism comes self-improvement. If I were to address all our intern problems here, I would probably be banned.

Don't worry about the Assyrians, lol!

They have a population of one million and with in that their split into like 20 groups most of whom are hostile to each other, and also many of them are loyal to Kurds.

Is it me or are you slowly trying to get people here to accept Turks as friends?

'Loyal' to Kurds? They hate us, man... :?

I don't know about you, but these unnuanced, narrow-minded and twisted articles about Kurds being 'butchers' offend me.

Not at all. All I'm saying is that we shoudn't be investing so much time in the Turks. I know they are occupiers, but nevertheless, from a historical aspect they are no initial threat to the Kurdish cause at all. They cannot claim eastern anatolia; it's out of the question. They migrated here by the sword and even passed us by. So why are we focussing so much on why their occupation is unjust? The Turks are an easy case.

The western Assyrians don't count as the majority of them in Kurdistan are loyal to Kurds.

Franso Toma Hariri, (1937 - February 18, 2001) an Assyrian politician, was a high ranking and long-standing Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq member and head of the KDP block of Iraqi Kurdistan National Assembly. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franso_Hariri)

Sarkis Aghajan Mamendo is an Assyrian whose family origins are from the district of Shamezdin in the Hakkari Province. Aghajan appears to owe his ascendancy within the Kurdistan Democratic Party power structure to his personal relationship to Nechervan Idris Barzani. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarkis_Aghajan_Mamendo)

Also a lot of them vote for Kurdish lists.

Besides like I said before 'chaldeans' and 'Assyrians' are hostile to each other, they are no threat to us right now.

I'm not convinced one bit.

The Assyrians in Kurdistan are currently no threat, but they have the potential to become one. The Assyrians diaspora holds a very strong nationalist sentiment, and the Assyrians in Kurdistan might become affected by this some day. Just go and read some posts by Rumtaya, for instance.

I'm not convinced one bit.

So in your opinion, the reason Turks shouldn't be occupying us requires the same level of intellectual enhancement as why Armenians or Assyrians shouldn't? Well, that's beyond me. Rubbing our cause into the Turk's faces surely hasn't had any practical benefit in my case.
