Watermelon?? In Kurdish, it is called "Shutî", or in Sine, Kurds call it "Henî".

Shut and Zebes ! cool nice words, ya heveal is right , in Sna , we call it Heni
may be becaus persians call it "Hendoone"

but plz dont think ppl of Sna, are persian...most of these words are Aryan words...that we both use it , and we didnt learn it from persians..and persians didnt learn it from us either  we both learnt it from our aryan parent.

"Hendone " in perisan means like "somethinig comes from India"
anybody knows about if Kurds had Waterlemon in Kurdistan before?
I geuss indians first brought it to kurdistan.

You are probably right, but I thought in Farsi, it was called "hendavaane", not hendoone ?

for my Jewish Friends/readers.

U must not get annoyed with the name Arya. It has nothing to do with the Nazis and Germany. It is a word that was misused by the Nazis during the II WW. thats the reason I try not to use it , and I often say indo-European instead ;)

thx

I see what you mean Kardox - but I don't think there is ANY danger that jews will think WE are nazi - in the words true meaning... The nazi appealed to a blond complex and we are dark... The "New Nazi" are another thing however - there the goal is more important than who prosecutes the means... Like in later years there has been some new nazi groups who have been ective in both Norway and Sweden - a boy was killed in Oslo two years ago because he was black... And in Stockholm there are more things happening - it's a bigger place so... And no the Norwegians and Swedish are not all blond... In fact the most notorious new nazi group has a BLACK person as part of their leadership... When I first heard that I was shocked - but obviously that is fully "accepted" by the other memebers... I don't know how that is "okey" for them since they kill people like him...

But now back to what was being said - yeah - Arian... That is something that was not only abused by Hitler - but it was "stolen" from the Zoroastrians - You know the philosopher Nichè? He based much of his work on the teachings of Zerdesht... And that is where he has the word Aian from and then Hitler picked up the words in the wrong end...

You know Nichè has been accused of being the father of Nazi thinking... But it is like Al-qaeeda - another extreme way of thinking - where they abuse an idea for their own cause...

So I don't think the Jews here misunderstand at all - do you? The real Arians are Medes - Pars - Parthians - Sagarthian etc... And not todays Kurds, Persians -etc - the persians at least have been victim of Arabizing... Kurds haven't "stayed pure" either...

silav bra ;)

thx for ur replay. I do not think that our Jewish friends think we are Nazis, but i just wanted to make it clear, thats the only reason i stated what i stated ;). and I think that indo-European covers the term good enough so i use that term instead.

And yes I know niche, I have a couple of books with him and the books are indeed difficult to understand by now ;) (maybe im dumb, who knows). Niche was a great admire of Zarathustra and Avesta. He mastered the Persian language perfectly.

thx ;)

I just think that "Indo-European" is too elusive... you should in that case say "Indo-Iranic"... then we are only talking about Kurds - Persians etc- anybody who is Arian- which is the same as being Iranic

Yes - you are right about Nichè - he is HARD to understand... Can't believe that HITLER managed to take out such rascist ideas from a GOOD idea...

Like PURENESS and turn it into Nazi ideology... Nichè talks of the "better" life etc - but not the "better race"... That is how sick humans are... Perverted down to the bone...

Because in reality we have just as much Semitic, Altaic and Caucasian as Arian blood... Not every Kurd has mixed with the same peoples...
