Kurdistano I can't beleive you above all people would say this. You have seen my family myself there are plenty of red haired/blonde people in it, but you don't see me saying that is typical for East Kurds or Kurd faylis. There is of course a minority which cannot be ignored, but its a 'minority'. Here face if we talk from an anthropological perspective is probably more southern European rather than South Kurdish. As I stated before, I'm not saying they don't exist, but the over whelming majority is jet black/dark brown haired in SK and NK.

Where did you see anyone stating that she looks like a majority? You stated that she looks atypical but this is bullcrap. She is not average but her look is at the same time not atypical. I dont know why you come up with anthropological things. Most Kurds here did confirmed that her look is pretty normal.

Most Kurds have dark brown/black agreed but depending on area something like 15-25% have brown hair with some 5-15% with blond or red hair from my observation. Kurds are so diverse in this aspect that it sounds ridiculous to say she is "atypical".

Lol come on, so jet black hair is common in Europe? She looks 100% Kurdish, I really don't see what is so Greek about her. The one who dyed her hair light brown actually looks Southern European.

That is Kurds as a whole, were talking about Southern Kurds. Which you know they have the least light haired people, due to geography and several other factors that would take ages to discuss. Anyways atypical means she isn't the majority looking, nor would I of guessed her as Kurdish. Maybe your right, maybe she is, but I'm going to SK this month. So we'll just see.

No we werent discussing "South Kurds as a whole". You simply brought it up. What I wrote was that it is fairly common in areas of Duhok and Barzan not SK as a whole. And you should look at the map and will see that Barzan and Duhok border Centra-North Kurdistan.
