With the New year, many people need to have a glance on what will happen this year, for themselves. So for all january, I open a I Ching Room : post your asking (with precise question or not) and I will tell what the I Ching has answered to everybody.

I can also give advice or teaching about I Ching in itself.

For some of us who have never used I Ching could you please explain a bit about it

I realize that it is hard to explain with words what is I Ching and how to consult it. On wikipedia page, it seems awfully complex, though it is not.

It is the method with coins, the easiest and fastest one. I use also sticks but coins are very efficient.

What does the I Ching predict for Ocalan ?

Hexagram 13 : The Fellowship, Agreement with everybody


1st Mutation : Agreement with everybody until the great door : no fault.

The door is the limit between a house and outside. So as so long as the agreement and negotiations happen in a closed place, the 'house' it will be ok, because it involves only the surrounding people, in a limited area.Prudence is necessary but there could not have big damages.

2nd Mutation : Agreement with everybody until the familial Temple. Trouble.

Difficulties to accord self-opinion and egocentrism with the necessity to enlarge the vision in the aim to reach the external world. Probably a uneasy adaptation to reality.


4th Mutation : Riding the wall. Unable to attack. Fortune.

Now the position is on the border between inside and outside, between 2 camps, 2 parts : riding the wall means you are sitting on it, you have contact with both side of the wall, but in an uncomfortable position : not a great possibility of action. Though this obliged immobilism open opportunities.

6th Mutation : Agreement with everybody. At first crying and moaning, then laughing. Greast masters in arms are able to meet each others.

Now there is a direct conflict and confrontation, with turmoils and hard contacts. But that conflict can end on a agreement.

The Advice : 48. The Well is a moment when organization and common work can provide a mutual result.

Will he be free?

So I don't think he will be free soon but could have probably a half public half secret political life with many hard timnes but that can lead to success.

39. Obstruction.

2nd Mutation : For the servant of the King, Obstruction on obstruction. It is not his fault.

Big obstruction, impossible to open a way for the moment. The people is not guilty of this situation, they have to endure their government and leaders, and they have no choice nor way to liberate themselves from a such step. But the situation is not entirely negative. The best is to keep his position and action and stay in a subordinate position. In short : 'Wait for better days, for the moment you can't hope great things, but at the end it could be better.'

The Advice. 48. The Well : Interesting it is the same than for Öcalan. The Well. In a sterile situation, some fecund elements can be filtered and bringing up for people. So even in dark days, there are positive opportunities in the future.

In the Yi king you can't ask 2 questions in on sentence, you have to ask step by step for the answer are very precise. So in that case, the questions should be shared in 2 :

60. Moderation.

5H MUTATION : Sweet moderation. Fortune. Action leads to excel.

There is necessity to impose rules and finding a new rhythm but in a climate of moderation and softness. Imposing some limits is possible with an equal balance between firmness and leniency. It is not a passive tolerance that is required but an attitude of greatness and generosity without weakness.

Advice : 19. Approach is a moment where many forces and possibilities emerge and where you have to help with benevolence a young seed for helping it to grow.

58. Joyful relationship.


1st : Enjoy in harmony. Fortune.
At this first step, the first contact is simple and spontaneous. Just talking and enjoying for the fun, without aim. Natural and careless relationship.

5th : A wave leading to chafe. Danger.

A difference of rank and hierarchy between people is not favorable. Perhaps a tendency to waste too much energy for a tiring result. Wise to not be too involved.

Advice : 40. Release. Let your burden, Don't grip the situation and have not much expectations. The best thing is to relax and to make difference between things you can control and not, and let events happen by themselves.

Keep in mind that I Ching is not a prediction as a fatality. It gives always a seeing of the situation, what are the opportunities and obstacles, and the best way to turn the situation in a good way. So it let entirely free to decide with a better knowledge about what are your challenges.
