On march 31st 1947, Qazi Muhammad, the president of the Republic of Mahabad was hanged on the Çarçira place of his city.
Now I wonder if the famous Çarçira Hotel in Erbil is a tribute to that leader.

On march 31st 1947, Qazi Muhammad, the president of the Republic of Mahabad was hanged on the Çarçira place of his city.
Now I wonder if the famous Çarçira Hotel in Erbil is a tribute to that leader.
